Directions

Farnless Farm Park is located just outside Bishop Middleham, near Sedgefield in Co Durham. For Satnav users our post code is DL17 9EB but only use that to get you to Bishop Middleham if you follow it literally you’ll end up in a quarry!

FROM THE SOUTH

If you approach us from the south on the A1M come off at junction 60 signposted Sedgefield and turn right onto the A689, after 2miles you’ll come to a large roundabout where you need to take the first exit signposted Durham onto the A177.
You immediately come to another roundabout that you must go straight over. You’ll pass Harwick Hall on your left and continue on for 2 miles.

As you come down a gentle hill you’ll see signposting and a left turn for Bishop Middleham, take this left and continue past a farm on your left. The road goes down a hill and bends to the left (there maybe a seasonal lake on your right!). Once you are at the bottom of the hill indicate right and turn on to the private tarmac road our signage should be clear. Go up the tarmac road to the big metal gates and go right onto our gravel road you’ll see the farm buildings infront of you.

FROM THE NORTH

If you approach us from the north come off the A1M at junction 61 signposted Coxhoe and take the third exit off the roundabout onto the A177. Continue down this road past the motorway services for a mile where you’ll reach a roundabout take the first exit, staying on the A177. Once you have go over the motorway you’ll come to another roundabout take the second exit staying on the A177 signposted towards Sedgefield.

Follow the A177 for approx 3 miles past The Hare and Hounds pub and along a long uphill straight. At the end of the straight you need to turn right signposted Bishop Middleham, continue past a farm on your left. The road goes down a hill and bends to the left (there maybe a seasonal lake on your right!). Once you are at the bottom of the hill indicate right and turn on to the private tarmac road our signage should be clear. Go up the tarmac road to the big metal gates and go right onto our gravel road you’ll see the farm buildings infront of you.
